Candlewood Suites Alexandria West, an IHG Hotel

My family stayed here for 6 days while we’re visiting DC. Hotel is close to DCA airport, Old Town Alexandria and D.C. We wanted a hotel that has kitchenette so we can cook and decided to stay here. I like the location as it’s close to grocery stores, and restaurants. if you’re Asian, Jollibee is so close and there’s also a few Filipino stores around the area. Staff are friendly and nice and they even allowed us to check in early! Thank you Dayana.

Wanted a place that was close to Signature Theatre, needed a microwave & fridge, and this was perfect. There's tons of food options around. Staff was nice. There are a lot of amenities that we didn't get the chance to take advantage of, but I think it's great that they have them. If I'm in the area again would probably rebook.

The family and I really enjoyed our stay here! It was more than welcoming. Clean and quiet. The location was perfect as there were many of stores and restaurants! The staff was amazing and the kitchenette was the best of all. We loved the many options of dishes and cookware. You guys pretty much provided everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. And for that we give a 100 out of 100 ! Can’t wait to stay again.

LOVED the kitchenette... needs a mirror over a desk surface to serve as a makeup station...needs hooks, hooks, hooks, hooks, hooks, hooks, and more hooks all over the entranceway and bathroom to hang random garments, et al... add a drive-thru portico or big awning at lobby entrance, maybe have desk staff on all shifts know about 'specials' for muffins (it was right there on the menu white board), have actual keys to unlock the sliders showing food and snack items, et al, know as much about the advertised property as the clients do... sheesh !

So, me and my co-workers had to say in Rooms on different floors because the hotel was full they said.
